Can You Say 'Fun'?

While living in Alabama, we became very close to Shane's Aunt Manya and Uncle Ronald. They are absolutely great, and we love them so much. Before Casen was born, Manya would always call or text to check on Camden, who she always seemed to have a special bond with. She assured me before Casen was born that they would come and visit soon after his arrival so they could meet him and see Camden. Well, they had a fire at their house several weeks after Casen was born, which delayed them coming, but they made true on their promise and came to visit us this weekend. We were thrilled to see them!!! It was like Christmas for all of us, as Manya brought gifts for everyone!!!!

We spent the majority of Friday evening playing with new toys and just catching up. On Saturday we had plans to mess around the house for a bit, then head to one of Shane's students football game. Unfortunately, my grandmother was sick and not doing well in Kerrville, so I headed out early and left them all at the house to play and have a good time. Manya, who also works as a clown, brought some of her balloons to make balloon animals at the game for Camden and any other kiddos that would enjoy them. Camden loved his balloons she made him, and was definitely tuckered out from their visit. It was a fun filled visit and we had a great time with them!! Hopefully, it won't be another two years before we see them!
