January Memories

Since we had a break from our sports, which didn't start back up until a week or so ago, we have had time to just hang around the house and do other 'fun' things. Several weeks ago I went to the Rustic Brush for a friends birthday and we made wood signs. I brought home some stickers so the boys could make their own art using the techniques I had learned. They both did a great job using their creativity and can't wait to hang up their new signs.

On January 25th, it was awards day at school for Camden's grade (Casen's grade does not yet have awards day). We are super proud of Camden for making all A honor roll and also for receiving the Character Award.

My boys are polar opposites in the way the express their love. Casen is one to always give me hugs and kisses. When he goes to bed every night and when he leaves for school in the morning, I always get three kisses - one on each cheek and one on the lips. Camden on the other hand pretty much refuses to give me a kiss, however he will give me hugs. A few weeks ago I took Casen to a birthday party and when we returned, I found this sweet card from Camden sitting on my nightstand. He may not be an overly affectionate boy, kind of like his daddy, but he sure does know how to warm this momma's heart.

Key Family Christmas

Since Melissa and her family went on a cruise over Christmas, we celebrated our family Christmas  today. We first headed to our favorite local Mexican restaurant and then came back to open presents.

After we opened presents, we play BeanBoozled. Poor Braden, I don't think he ever ended up with a decent flavor. Even though I myself never got canned dog food, I think it had to have been the worst because the smell alone about made me gag. And so I share with you some of the faces of BeanBoozled.

This was with either canned dog food
or spoiled milk

Canned dog food for the win

Spoiled milk - YUCK!
