Growing up, my momma always told me that you should only have two kids because you only have two hands. Frankly, I never once thought about having more than two children, which is a good thing since I started having babies later in life! As time goes on, I am in awe of people who have more than two children and am so very thankful we only have two so that we can more easily divide and conquer. As they say, it takes a village!
Casen had a tournament in Houston this weekend, while Camden was scheduled to have a soccer game in San Antonio on Saturday and then one in Austin today. Since driving is not Shane's favorite thing to do, I had no problem being the one to cart Camden around Texas. Since his game in San Antonio was at 11:00am, we headed to Kerrville afterwards to spend time with my parents before having to head to Austin today for a 3:00pm game.
Camden driving me around in the golf cart at my parents. He and I enjoyed our short time we were able to spend in Kerrville. |
I am so grateful for Game Changer that allows us to keep up with Casen's games while we are traveling around.
Casen's team made it to the finals, which didn't start until after 8:00pm, so I was able to drop off an exhausted Camden at home and then head to Baseball USA to watch his team lose in the final game. :(
As much as it was a busy weekend, I would not change this time of life for a thing. I love every minute of it and am so grateful we are able to support our children doing the things they love!
