It really is hard to believe that it is already Spring Break. This school year is flying by - not that I am complaining. Just 50 some odd days and we will be celebrating summer! We started out our Spring Break by heading to Beaumont for Camden to play in his first ever baseball tournament. His team, the Houston Gamblers, has a 7U tournament team that he was invited to join, so we decided to try it out.
Although it was a fun experience, we lost all three games we played.

All the Hood boys! |
We stayed in Lumberton until Tuesday when we headed back home. On Thursday we went to Burroughs Park and let the boys play all morning. We met my friend Ann and her four grand kids there and they had a great time playing.
On Friday I took the boys to Sub Zero Ice Cream and Yogurt. What a fun place!!! They make the ice cream right in front of you - you pick what kind of cream you want, then what flavor you want and add any other extras you want. We all had mint ice cream with Andes mints and crushed Oreo cookies mixed in, served in a waffle bowl. Talk about YUMMY!!! We ate it all up!

On Saturday night I went to the Annual KSBJ concert with my friends Pam and Shana and had a great time listening to Christian music. It was a bit cool outside, but we had blankets to stay warm.
All in all it was a fun, relaxing Spring Break. Now I guess we are ready for the home stretch of school. Bring it on so we can get to summer!!!
