9 Month Apppointment

Today was Casen's 9 Month appointment with Dr. Worrell. He weighed in at 19 pounds 8 ounces and was 29 inches long. That puts him in the 32nd percentile for weight and 85th percentile for height. While we were there I asked about his Zantac. He still spits up, but the real question was does he seem like he is uncomfortable with it, which he does not. So we decided that we could go ahead and try stopping it and see how he does. If he seems uncomfortable with the reflux, then we can restart the medication. He did get his second and final flu shot today. Since babies have to get a series of two flu shots, it was either he get his second one today, or next year he gets two. I figured he would be less apt to remember it now, so opted for today. I must say he was a champ getting it, he cried right when she gave it and the second I picked him up he stopped - thank goodness.

Now that we got that taken care of, we can now start our Spring Break and head to Kerrville to visit Grandma and Grandpa Key.
