First Words

Despite all my attempts to teach him otherwise, Casen said his first word and it wasn't 'Momma'. Of course, it was 'Da Da'. I mean really???? Does he not realize that I carried him for 9 months, that I am the source of his food and that I am the one who gets up with him in the middle of the night - and yet he STILL says Da Da first?!?!?!?!? Honestly, I am just kidding. I do know that infants notoriously say Da Da first because it is part of their development in speech, however that doesn't make it an easier pill to swallow.
