First stop was the Tomball Fine Arts Festival where Camden had two pieces displayed.
After seeing all the talented artists of Tomball ISD, we headed to Alvin, Texas for the first of several games for Casen's tournament. The outcome of the first game was great - we won 20-7. The second game we were not so lucky and lost 18-1.
Casen getting some lovin' after he had a great inning. |
A lot of highs and lows in baseball. Apparently dad was not thrilled with how Casen played so he got a talking to between innings. |
Sunday there were more games to be played in the baseball tournament. Casen's first game was scheduled for 8:00am and Camden had a soccer game at 12:00pm, but due to Alvin being south of Houston, we had to divide and conquer. Casen's team started out rough, but won their first game 19-8. Their second game was not until 2:00pm, so Camden and I missed them both. But from what I hear, despite them losing their second game Casen played well and hit the ball well.
Camden's soccer game was a good one. The other team played aggressive and the game was very close until the very end. Luckily our boys stepped up and we ended up winning 5-3.
