Hit the Ground Running

This weekend was the first games of the season for both boys. Between the two of them they had 6 games in two days. Camden's team playing in the Challenge Texas Warm Up Cup, playing two games Saturday and one today.  Sadly enough they lost all 3 of the games 2-3. Let's hope that is not an indicator of how our season is going to go . . . 

Casen also had 3 games, two on Saturday and one today. We had a great time cheering his team to 3 victories!

First Day of School

This year marks both boys last year at their present schools. This is the last year for Casen to be at Willow Creek Elementary and last year for Camden to be at Northpointe Intermediate. Despite the rise in COVID-19 cases, we are hoping that this year will be more 'normal'. I have asked both boys to wear their masks at least in the hallway . . . I have a feeling Camden will do what is asked, but Casen will be questionable. :) Camden is taking all TAP (Tomball Advanced Program) classes, so should have a bit of a challenging year.

Soccer Camp and Meet the Teacher

This week Camden had two-a-day soccer camp. Shane started back to school this week, so Shane's parents stayed with us this week so they could get him back and forth to soccer. Camden has been dealing with some heel pain this week and we are hoping it subsides soon . . . 

Thursday, Casen had meet the teacher and met Mrs. Qualls, his Math and Science teacher, and Mrs. Reese, his English and Social Studies teacher. 

And what better way to say goodbye to summer than with an ice cream treat from Gooey's Ice Cream. Yum!
