Tooth #8
While we were at Grandma and Grandpa's, I am pretty sure tooth #8 cut through, however I caught a glimpse of it today. (It is hard to see in this picture, but it is to the right of his right front tooth.)

Relaxing in Kerrville
Shane had three different classes to attend this week, so I decided it would be a great time for me and the boys to head to my parents for the week. I had no real plans, except to relax, which thankfully is so nice and easy to do there. Aside from having to stay on Camden's case (can you say HORRIBLE three's?) and dealing with a clingy 13 month old (can you say Momma's boy?) I had a very pleasant time.

To top off our visit, my aunt and uncle came to visit and brought my second cousin, Evan, who we have never met. He is such an intelligent, polite and pleasant boy.

Gone to Nana and Poppa Ron's
Last Saturday we headed to Nederland to our nephew's, Malachi, one year birthday party. It was at Colorado Canyon, which is a place that has putt putt as well as a small arcade. Camden had a great time playing skee ball and video games, as well as making his own stuffed animal.
After the party, Camden stayed with Nana and Poppa Ron for the week as we headed home for yet another week of just the three of us. Needless to say, they had lots of fun things planned for Camden.
Sunday after church they headed to the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus. He enjoyed it, especially the dogs and elephants, however he was not so thrilled with the motorcycles in the cages.
In the midst of all of the fun, he was able to go swimming, play with all the fun toys, and go out and eat at restaurants (one of his favorite things to do!)
To top off his fun week, Nana and Poppa Ron took Gavin and Camden to Galveston for some fun at the beach.

He enjoyed the elephants (I am sure because he has been brain washed with elephants - Roll Tide!) |
On Tuesday, Nana took him to a place that had a lot of blow up, jumpy things where he got to run around and get rid of his energy, and then she took him to the mall to eat some chinese food. And what better way to top of his busy day than buy enjoying a bath in Pappa Ron's blue bath tub which he thought was so cool since it was blue!

On Thursday Poppa Ron took Camden to play putt putt - which apparently he did pretty well!

Our Family Summer Vacation
Anyone who knows me knows that I love to go places - I am not really picky, just anywhere away from home. I am not a stay at home person and staring at the same four walls doing the same thing day in and day out is not my idea of how life is supposed to be. All that being said, I have been looking forward to our family vacation since we booked it in May! There are not a whole lot of things you can do with a three year old and a one year old that would be fun for everyone, however I think we found it! We packed up on Wednesday and headed to Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Texas. The thought of having everything you need all in one place was one of the things that attracted us to going there, as well as the fact that they have things for kids of all ages. Camden loved going down the big body slides and really wanted to go down the big tube slides, however he was too short by an inch! He spent a lot of time on the smaller water slides as well as in the wave pool and playing with all the water toys. Casen enjoyed the water and did not mind getting splashed by all the people or the toys. He is definitely a people watcher so really just hung out in the water and took it all in. Needless to say, a great time was had by all!
